B.C. Curriculum

Our school follows the British Columbia School Curriculum, offering education to students from Kindergarten to Grade 9, with the added benefit of being able to promote a Christian lifestyle to our students. This ensures that our graduates are well equipped to handle the academic and moral challenges that they will encounter in high school and higher education.

All of our teachers are fully certified and maintain a strong commitment to the core provincial curriculum. This includes instruction in English Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, French, Physical and Health Education, Arts Education, Applied Design, and Skills and Technologies.

Recently the BC Curriculum has undergone a shift to focus on three core competencies that work in a synergistic fashion that allows students to thrive. These core competencies are Thinking (Creative and Critical), Communication and Personal and Social (Identity, Awareness and Responsibility).
